"Zanshin--Leaving the Heart Behind was recorded in the chapel at Collège universitaire de Saint-Boniface from December 5-15, 2003 by Norman Dugas Production, with the help of Norm Dugas and Mark Chaplin. Special thanks go out to the administrative staff at the Collège whose offices were located directly below the chapel. Zanshin is available on iTunes.

Jo, Ha, Kyu, Zanshin is a classic pattern in traditional Japanese arts. Jo--the "introduction" or initial start of a movement is followed by Ha--the "break" when the movement breaks into medium speed, followed by Kyu--the "rush" or sprint to the end. These all lead to a full stop--Zanshin--or literally "leaving behind the heart" after which another cycle begins. From Lost Japan by Alex Kerr, Lonely Planet:1996.

This may not be like anything else you typically download on your phones but you are guaranteed to get caught up in the rhythm and feel at one with the beat.
