Naomi Guilbert was born in Winnipeg, MB. Trained by Grandmaster Seiichi Tanaka, she toured with the San Francisco Taiko Dojo in the United States and Japan and performed at Carnegie Hall. Naomi was an instructor with the SF Taiko Dojo and continues to teach taiko classes in Winnipeg with Hiroshi. For over twenty years she has taught kids across Manitoba through the Artists in the Schools program. She has also been a guest instructor at Berea College in Kentucky and is one of Fubuki Daiko's principal composers.
